Low Carb in the UK

NIkola Howard and her double ghp award

She’s only gone and done it – again! (Press Release)

For the second year running, I’m very pleased to announce that I’ve been given an award by ghp!

This time in two categories:

As you know, I feel that changing the way we eat is the easy part, and that the real work is all about to empowering and transforming the way we think.

So I was particularly pleased with the feedback I received this year from ghp:

ghp award panel comments:

“During our assessment of Nikola Howard/Low Carb in the UK we were extremely impressed with the extent to which Nikola takes an active role in ensuring that her clients receive tailored, un-biased and informative nutrition coaching that not only aims to help her clients achieve a healthier way of living, but also places the mental wellbeing of each client at the forefront of her practice by emphasising the importance of deviating away from harmful attitudes surrounding dieting.

“We were also delighted with the amount of positive feedback received by clients who commend Nikola for her empathy, depth of knowledge and ability to offer advice to meet the specific needs of those seeking guidance.

“Nikola’s passion for her work remains evident in her desire to provide a plethora of resources for clients to utilize including online courses, eBooks, Recipes and coaching sessions, demonstrating to us that Nikola is truly committed to her work and, most importantly, the health and wellbeing of her clients.

“We were unanimous in our decision to award Nikola Howard ‘Most Inspirational Nutritional Coach & Mentor (London)’, in the Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards 2020, and ‘Best Women’s Weight Loss Coach – South East England’ in the Fitness & Nutrition Awards 2020.

“We feel that Nikola not only deserves these awards but is in good stead to receive more recognition in the future.

“Congratulations and well done from the team here at Global Health & Pharma.”

Why these awards also please me is that I recognise that most people do not have the budget for my 1:1 services, and with the current health crisis, underlying metabolic health is so critical to everything!

So, this year I’ve worked to create something that means I can assist the whole of the UK to eat themselves healthy.

I’ve created Low Carb Living UK as a low cost weekly structure that will give group support and momentum for anyone joining.

It creates an effortless path towards a slender healthy body, as well as working more widely to destroy the current paradigm of guilt, shame and victimhood that pervades the diet industry.

And these awards give that work a further boost!

So, how can I help you?

Let talk and let’s see what the possibilities are.

Press release

Nikola Howard cited as “Most Inspirational Nutritional Coach” and “Best Women’s Weight Loss Coach”

Nikola Howard, one of the UK’s leading champions of the benefits of a low-carb lifestyle https://lowcarbinthe.uk, is celebrating winning two prestigious awards just as she approaches the 21st anniversary of the start of her personal mission. In her own words, she wants to set people free from ‘diet prison’ and encourage Britain to ‘eat itself healthy’.

Global Health and Pharma, an influential international members’ community exploring and promoting best practices in Human, Animal and Environmental Health, has awarded Nikola prizes in two categories: Most Inspirational Nutritional Coach & Mentor (London) at the Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards 2020, and Best Women’s Weight Loss Coach – South East England at the Fitness & Nutrition Awards 2020.

Commenting on the double accolade, Nikola said: “I’m really delighted to win these awards, above all because it underlines that the unique methods I’ve developed over the past 20 years for my clients and the community have been very thoroughly and expertly tested and validated – and they’ve been shown to deliver excellent results over and over again.”

GHP emphasised the rigorous selection and award process: “Our extensive research and judging process is driven by merit and centred around an in-depth evaluation of the skills and services on offer.

“Awardees must demonstrate expertise within their field, dedication to customer service and a commitment to promoting excellence. This approach has brought us much success and commendation throughout its use and enforces Global Health & Pharma’s stance that victors are not determined by the popularity of votes, but by their contributions to their industry.”

Nikola adds a more personal aspect: “Through the HOPE Protocol, we get some outstanding initial results. The HOPE Protocol involves working on hormone balance and organic nutrition, in a context including education, encouragement, enjoyment and mindfulness. We can go on from there to empower people to create a sustainable lifestyle that means being low carb, slender and metabolically healthy is an instinctual no-brainer.”

The latest awards will be an important boost to Nikola’s newest initiative, Low Carb Living UK http://lowcarbliving.uk. Conceived as a low cost, easily accessible structure to complement Nikola’s highly successful personal coaching practice, the Low Carb Living UK concept encourages group support and momentum for the many people who are unable to access individual mentoring.

Nikola emphasizes that she has little time for the wave of ‘faddish’ commercialised low-carb diet programmes that have sprung up in recent years, adding: “I’m on a crusade to disrupt the diet industry paradigm and move us away from guilt and shame when it comes to food and our bodies. Instead, I work on the mental/mindset side of body composition management, to break people away from “victim mentality” and to ensure long term success.”

It’s a formula that has brought her much success with private clients and she is a sought-after inspirational speaker on health and nutrition subjects, often provoking controversy. One of Nikola’s clients, Clare, had this to say about the Get Started Challenge: “Thank you Nikola! I still have a lot of work to do, but this course has given me the tools I need. Big changes happening!”

With Covid-19 dominating the headlines, Nikola is convinced that the role nutrition plays in the widely varied outcomes of those affected will eventually come under the spotlight.

“Currently, we are experiencing a real crisis in the nation’s underlying metabolic health, which is causing enormous stresses on people and the already over-stretched health service at a time of great crisis. By working together, I believe we can all literally help each other to eat ourselves healthy – and stay healthier.”
